It’s Saturday and we have a good day of sport ahead. Before I get stuck into that, please note, there won’t be content in the Winners Enclosure every single day. When there is something that catches our eye, we will post.
So far we are well ahead in terms of profit and our first challenge was a success, but this definitely isn’t an every day service. If you don’t hear from us, then that means nothing doing!
Today? Football wise, it’s not great.
Cyrstal Palace are too skinny at 1.9 and we are more than happy to lay them at that price. Nothing else appeals today unfortunately.
Hugo, who is more into rugby thinks Ireland at 2.2 is a half decent bet.
The Ayr Gold Cup looks interesting.
Betinator thinks Desert Cop, Gorak, Monassib, Ramazan and it Just Takes Time – all have possible value angles.
Betfair are offering top 7 place market but at the time, none of those horses give us any strong urge to get involved.
Ramazan looks like the best chance to win of that list. Orazio also appeals.
A possible each way bet on Ramazan is on our radar. Today could be one just to sit back and watch sport.
We will of course be getting involved with most of The Bot’s selection as usual but apart from that there’s not much on this fine Autunm day.

Real Madrid look way too short at 1.42 to beat Union Berlin. Suggest a lay at that price. From there we have a few options. If Union Berlin get the first goal, green up. If 0-0 and Real Madrid go to 1.84 you could cash out. If Real Madrid score first, you could lay again and hope for the equaliser for more profit. Beginers could aim for 20% profit. I suspect Real Madrid will win but I don’t think they are a 1.42 shot.
Also, Bayern Munich are too short to beat Man Utd at 1.51. As above, lay pre kick off and adjust. Man Utd are seen as a bit of a joke these days but they have players to punish on the counter and they are no mugs. Sure, Bayern are favourites but not 1.51 favourites. I like laying Bayern Munich if they score the first goal.
4:35 Beverley sees a fairly open race with Man of Monaco at a nice price – on the exchanges. It looks like a pretty good bet at the price. I don’t like backing or laying the first two in the market and Man of Monaco looks decent value
4:40 Kelso sees hot favourite Idem run. I expect it to do well but might make heavy weather of it. Try backing slightly higher than the starting price. For example, if around even money starting price then go for around 6/4 in play.
