How to Use the Premium Racecard (Quick Guide)
This racecard is designed to be used at a glance.
You do not need to read every column to get value from it.
Think of it like a professional gambler’s dashboard — scan, absorb, decide.
Step 1: Start with the Win %
The Win % bar shows each horse’s realistic chance of winning.
Longer bar = stronger chance
This is an upgraded model, with greater accuracy
- Ideal for quickly identifying the main contenders
Step 2: Check Recent Form & Progress
- Recent Form = how the horse has performed in its last few runs
- Progress = whether the horse is improving or regressing
You’re generally looking for:
Positive or improving form
Avoid horses showing consistent decline
Step 3: Not All Favourites Are Created Equal
Some races contain weak or poorly priced favourites that may be worth taking on.
- FavSinker
- More anchors = stronger suggestion the favourite may be opposable
- CounterFav
- Stars highlight races where FavSinkers are present
This is not “lay this horse” — it’s highlighting horse to possibly take on.
Step 4: Use the Long Shot Indicators
These help identify outsiders that may be better than the price suggests.
Long Shot Outlook (Race-Level)
Green = favourable conditions (dark green very favourable)
Red = poor conditions
Salmon = Slightly unfavourable
Black = no real edge detected
Long Shot Profile (LSP) (Horse-Level)
Tick = fits the profile of a successful above-average long shot
Cross = no edge detected
Blank = no verdict
A long shot profile tick does not mean “bet blindly”.
Some LSP horses have a 1% chance of winning.
If the bots believe that chance is 2% or better, that edge earns a .
Can be useful for:
- Each-way bets
- Forecasts & tricasts
- Finding value away from favourites

Step 8: Bobby’s Bet IQ
This is the big-picture brain behind the card.
- Focuses on value, not odds-on shots
- Think pro gambler logic
- When there’s a bet → it’s made very clear
- Otherwise → a bar shows the level of betability
Step 9: Trainer & Jockey Performance Maps
- Warts and all — no sugar coating
- Based on expectation vs reality, not hype
General guidance:
Long-shot backers → greens to the left (66/1 plus far left column)
Favourite backers → greens to the right (odds on last two columns)
“Dark horse” hunters → greens middle to left
Step 10: Put It All Together
Long-Shot Backers
Combine:
- Long Shot Outlook & Profile
- FavSinker
- Data ticks
- Bobby’s Bet IQ
- Trainer & Jockey performance
Not all ducks need to line up — price exists because of doubt.
Favourite Backers
Look for:
- Strong Win %
- Good form & progress
- No FavSinker
- Lots of Data ticks
- Greens in Trainer/Jockey
- Strong Bobby’s Bet IQ
